As a valued Teacher Ambassador we invite you to apply for your students to have the opportunity to participate in a special Netball World Cup SYDNEY 2015 event: The World’s Biggest Netball Clinic (WBNC).
Who can participate? Years 5 & 6 Primary School Students
What: 60 – 75 minute netball lesson / clinic
When: Monday 10 August, Day 4 of Netball World Cup SYDNEY 2015
Where: Sydney Olympic Park (specific event details to be provided to successful applicants)
Why: To celebrate NWC2015, we are inviting Teacher Ambassadors to involve their students in a world record attempt – to create a new record for the biggest group of students to participate in a netball clinic at one time.
How: Teacher Ambassadors should apply – details below
The World’s Biggest Netball Clinic is more than an opportunity for outdoor fun, sport and learning, the experience will also provide the 650 students with:
· Participation in a large group warm up lead by a Netball Legend
· Participants will receive a World’s Biggest Netball Clinic official and limited edition positional playing bib for students to keep as a memento
· Participants will receive a ‘Welcome + Well Done Gift Pack’ thanks to NWC2015 partners
· One ticket per participant for entry to Allphones Arena to enjoy the Netball World Cup Preliminary Matches on Day 4 PLUS the 2pm Australian Diamonds on court Special Event (2 – 3pm)
· One Teacher/School THANK YOU pack which includes the 2015 MINI Netball World Cup Schools Curriculum Resource, plus additional items
· Complimentary bus parking at Sydney Olympic Park from 9am – 4pm, should they choose to arrange bus transportation for students
To date NWC2015 have received a high number of enquiries regarding WBNC and are mindful of giving schools everywhere, the chance to apply.

Write, draw, film or photograph your reasons why your Years 5 & 6 students would love to be part of this special event and consider this a once in a lifetime opportunity. Please be as creative as possible in order to demonstrate why your students would thoroughly enjoy, embrace and be inspired by the opportunity to participate in the World’s Biggest Netball Clinic.
Based on the applications, our four netball judges will select the most creative and passionate applications and invite these groups to attend.
Teacher Ambassadors will be advised of their schools application outcome by 3pm, Wednesday 24 June 2015, prior to the end of Term 2.
Active roles - Teachers will be actively involved in the Netball Clinic and should come attired with appropriate footwear and able to actively participate.

Food & Drink – Students will need to arrange their own food and drink on the day. Please note that commercial food cannot be brought into Allphones Arena. One bottle of water (no more than 700mls) can be taken inside Allphones Arena per student.
Footwear & Uniform – Students should wear appropriate ‘sports’ footwear and clothing to participate in WBNC.
Notification - Each successful group will receive further instructions and information once successfully notified of their acceptance entry to the WBNC.
Parent tickets - Parents wishing to obtain tickets to NWC2015 on this day – should do so via www.nwc2015.com.au/tickets. These seats cannot be allocated within the WBNC seating sections at Allphones Arena. However, it is easy to see all sections of the seating bowl at Allphones Arena.
Participants Packs - will be available on the day and can ONLY be provided to those participating students in attendance on the day. Unfortunately additional packs will not be available to take away for non-attending students.
Student Groups - should be no smaller than 15 students per application and no more than 30 students.
Teacher ratio – NWC2015 require at least one teacher for every 15 students.
Teacher Ticket - Teachers will be provided with one ticket (per person) in order to attend the Allphones Arena matches with their students after the clinic.
Transportation - Please note that schools will be responsible for arranging the transportation of students to and from Sydney Olympic Park on the day.
World Record attempt - This event will be a world record attempt and therefore students must be able to be photographed and filmed for promotional purposes at all times.
