Hey NWC2015 Fans!
It’s been a busy couple of weeks for the Netball World Cup SYDNEY 2015’s (NWC2015) Trophy Tour visiting several netball Associations across NSW.
We ventured over to Saturday morning netball and said hi to the teams at the Baulkham Hills Shire Netball Association (BHSNA). English international and NSW Swifts midcourter, Jade Clarke was there too, and took the time to visit with us and take a few snaps with the Trophy. We also had a great time meeting so many keen netballers, and bopping away to the awesome Trophy Tour playlist put together by former BHSNA and NSW Swifts player, Sam May, who now plays for the Hertfordshire Mavericks in the UK Superleague.
The visit to the Parramatta Auburn Netball Association’s Representative Carnival was huge – over 1,000 in attendance! A massive day of competition with so many Associations from across NSW were represented and I was almost blinded (not really!) by all the camera flashes taking so many photos!
Then we hit the M4 and headed across the mountains to the beautiful countryside of Bathurst, the where former Diamond’s defender, Mo’onia Gerrard. The view from the top of Mt Panorama was stunning, but what was even better was to see so many keen young netballers from throughout the West / Central West region out on court – rain, hail or shine – partaking in the Bathurst Netball Association’s Representative Carnival!
Make sure you check out our Facebook page to see if your photo with me is there! Or if it’s not, you can tag us into your images on Twitter or Instagram, or even send us your snaps to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Look out for the #NWC2015 #TrophyTour team again this weekend! We’re going to be making a couple more surprise visit to Associations, and then checking out our Netball World Cup venue Allphones Arena, when the NSW Swifts take on the Melbourne Vixens in Round 10 of the ANZ Championship on Sunday, see you there from 10.30am!
Can’t wait to see you,
